Dishonored 2

At Iloura we had a pleasure of working on Dishonored 2 live-action trailer. I was involved in conceptualizing some of the environments and effects based on the game. Final grade differs from the artwork presented here - see you tube link in the previous post below. Attached concept artwork from main shot I was involved in, secondary angle of the same location matte painting and the original plate, concept artwork when guars are being teminated by Emily's super powers. Mars WIRED

Matte painting work I have completed for Nick Kaloterakis from kollected.com
The illustration was used in WIRED magazine in an article considering possibility of inhabiting planet Mars.
The renders of the base and the foreground characters were provided and I had to create the background crater, sky and rock formations as well as composite all elements

Cloudscape

Matte work I've done a while ago for a TV ad. Only Photoshop used here, objective was to create alien looking atmosphere hence use of this particular color palette.

ILM The Moment

My entry to the first stage if the ILM ( Industrial Light & Magic ) Art Station Challenge. Unfortunately I was only able to finish one of required two images for that stage. Huge fan of Star Wars ( 4-6 ) so was really keen to dive into this world again and create an icy Hoth scene. I used 3d for the Empire and Rebel forces. Mountains are painted without use of textures.

Tokyo | matte painting

Matte painting for Joseph Wong an independent filmmaker. Joe needed a post apocalyptic Tokyo stylized slightly into anime direction - hence gentle black outline to all elements. Plate indicated below. Soon, we will be able to see final video clip that Joe and his team created where my painting was used. Final panorama was 180 degrees wide.
