Life

'Life' by Anton Corbijn has been recently released. It is a story of a photographer assigned to shoot pictures of James Dean. I was involved in the production of several matte paintings depicting Times Squere ( mark 2:00 in the trailer  ) which was a full cg environment. Attached also the main reference our team was using. It's lot of fun to recreate the past!

Mad Max - shot breakdown

Time to share some work done on Mad Max! Lets start with this epic view of the Citadel. Lot of matte painting work went into this one by few artists. I was painting on top of the cg render that had to achieve photo-realistic quality as well as required more details. Additional tasks included integration of props, vegetation and citadel base texturing. Pretty much all the surfaces where covered with various photos and whole foreground was built from the scratch. Base 3d Maya model attached for reference. More shots coming soon in my latest reel!

Mad Max 'Fury Road' release

What a lovely day! Finally we have seen the finished Mad Max Fury Road. Very proud to be part of the amazing team led by extraordinary director George Miller. I'm hoping to be involved in the next parts to come!
